What happens when someone is nominated?

Once the application has been approved by CTeen HQ, an email alert will be sent to the nominated teen notifying them of their nomination. Nominee applications will only open on April 12, 2021 - 30 Nissan 5781. They will then have until April 27, 2021 - 15 Iyar 5781 to fill out their own application for the award.

Who chooses the finalists?

The final eight awardees will be decided by our Selection Committee, comprised of ten past CTeen leaders with first-hand knowledge of what goes into being a true CTeen leader. Click here to meet them.

What do the finalists win?

Winners will be announced publicly via social media on May 23, 2021 - 12 Sivan 5781. Our 8 teens under 18 awardees will receive a plaque, recognition at the 2022 INTL Shabbaton, and a $1,000 scholarship towards a CTeen approved gap year program.
